Based in St. Imier Switzerland, the Longines brand is the top Brand of watches for the innovation and in-house manufacture of flyback chrongraph watches in Swiss Horology. This piece is in with 2 square pusher buttons that was made in 1940 in 18ct gold 38mm case with champagne color dial in black arab printed numerals in pristine original condition, the very few FLYBACK wrist watches in the 13zn models with 2 push square buttons, hence very rare piece. Attached to the watch is a bespoke Brown strap (picutres) stiched in on case that has fixed pins and a original period buckle. Watch comes with record from the archives from Longines switzerland for this watch for exact record of its production/sale showing that the serial No: 5,86xxxx was invoiced on 29th August 1940 to the company Ostersetzer, agent of the brand in Italy. Most iconic swiss watch of 1940’s to 1970 when the brand was the most prestigious manufacturer of chronographs watches and its movements fully inhouse in its factory in St.Imier, Switzerland. Note: The strap shown extra with watch are for reference that can be ordered at extra cost for the watch from us (it will have to be stitched into the fixed pins to the case) Note: Used preowned vintage watch with slight scratches on case & case back and light patina on dial due to age.
