A 1970s Longines Conquest 1972 Munich Olympic Games stainless steel wristwatch, ref. 8612-1, serial number 1870XX, with manual wind Swiss movement, mono-push chronograph with orange centre sweep seconds hand, 30 minute subsidiary minutes dial and outer tachymetre scale, in a 36mm case, on later adjustable stainless steel bracelet, the rear of the case stamped Longines, Official Timer At The Olympic Games, XX Olympic Games Munich 1972, complete with Longines box and certificate of origin and guarantee dated 4-9-75 and stamped M. Orzel, Watchmaker & Jeweller, Stafford. Movement starts to run for few seconds and then stops and will require attention. The push start and reset function operates well. The crown does operate but is a little stiff in setting the hands. A small scratch to the glass at the 4 marker.
