The 44mm red gold case offers a striking housing for the fine mechanical movement and the sapphire glass caseback unveils a fascinating view of the manual wind Cal. III. The dial is solid silver with a day/night indicator at 4 o'clockjust off the center. Moon and earth disk in 18ct gold enamelled. While this model is still published on the Lang & Heyne website, it is no longer in production. The exact number of watches produced is unknown, but to our best knowledge, only serial numbers below 100 have been observed. The present example carries the number 4 on the dial and was sold in October 2006. Only early models carry the serial number on the dial. Later serial numbers have been engraved on the movement only. The last known retail price was 56’000 EUR plus taxes. It has been checked by our watchmaker and shows strong amplitude and good accuracy on the timegrapher.
