The LANCO movement with 15 jewels, which works great, has a very strong and beautiful ticking. This watch is 41 mm in size, which is a classic version of early aviation watches with a diameter of 41 mm. Everything on the watch is in original, period condition, including the hands, crown and glass. There are minor scratches on the glass, the dial is completely fine. The watch has beautiful functional luminescence visible in the photos. The watch is described in the book "Military Timepieces" by Konrad Knirim on page 146 (see photo). Konrad Knirim writes: “Pilot watches from the 1930s: These watches were first issued by the Luftwaffe in 1934. Natalis, Mimo, Breitling chronograph, Titus, Zenith, Omega, Helvetia and other manufactures, such as Longines, Roamer, Lanco....” The watch comes with a new leather strap in a period design that matches it perfectly. A beautiful and original piece of history.
