As versatile as a scorpion
Robust, adaptable, and luminous in the dark – a scorpion has characteristics that make it ideal for numerous habitats. This Laco model is also suitable for a wide range of applications. As a special highlight, the watch features a matching case back marker: a relief in the shape of a scorpion.
The four timepieces in the product line share not only the same case shape but also a black dial with white Arabic numerals. However, they are visually differentiated by different color accents: Both the black, unidirectional rotating bezel and the indices and minute hand are coated with Superluminova luminous material in white, green, blue, or orange, depending on the model. The long-lasting afterglow effect ensures optimal readability at dusk or in the dark. This illustrates the analogy with a scorpion: a scorpion produces fluorescent substances that make it visible at night when exposed to UV light.
With its rigid chitin shell, the Skorpion is also characterized by its robustness despite its small size. This characteristic also applies to the sports watch. The "Skorpion," with a diameter of 42 mm, is resistant to external influences. This is ensured by the sturdy stainless steel case, the screw-down case back, and the screw-down crown. The double-domed sapphire crystal is scratch-resistant. Thanks to an internal anti-reflective coating, it reflects less, thus offering better visibility. The watch is also water-resistant to 30 ATM. To ensure optimal use in water, the models are available with either a rubber or stainless steel strap.
The "Skorpion" combines practical functions with a sophisticated look. It achieves its full potential in a variety of environments. Whether mountains, deserts, or tropical forests, this flexible watch is ready for daily outdoor use. The names of the four models reflect this: Himalayas, Amazon, Atlantic, and Mojave.
