Grandjean of Le Locle, Switzerland, reputed maker of complicated timepieces. It is fitted with a two-train movement, split seconds chronograph and jumping 1/4ths of a second. The jumping seconds hand, also called “foudroyante” in French, indicates fractions of a second when the chronograph function is activated.
