Vertical Guilloche The vertical strakes are a detail that Hajime Asaoka has pursued since his very first tourbillon, and in the Grand Jubilee Calendar, they are expressed subtly through guilloché. Grand Medallion in Gold-Plated Steel Hajime Asaoka’s personal signature seal gives recognition to the Grand Jubilee Calendar to be in our Grand Series of watches. For the Jubilee year, it is specially presented as a medallion in gold-plated steel with sensei’s hanko engraved. Onyx Cabochon and Onyx-like Black Hands To mark Hajime Asaoka’s 60th Diamond Jubilee, a natural black onyx cabochon adorns the watch’s crown. This time, the hands have also been finished in the same black, reflecting Asaoka’s attention to detail.
