This watch is an adaptation of Hajime Asaoka's Tsunami 'As Time Goes By' atelier watch, unveiled in Geneva in 2024. It has been specifically tailored for Kurono Tokyo, featuring high-polished steel applied ‘star’ indices paired with a unique Art Deco font, meticulously designed by Hajime-sensei, character by character. The stars were mass-produced based on Hajime-sensei's design using molds and forging techniques. The results were so impressive that sensei is now considering creating a complete version of the Tsunami 'As Time Goes By' with these stars. “For this piece, in addition to the Art Deco numerals, I incorporated stars into the index. This style, known as the 'Star Dial', was popular in the 1930s. In fact, I originally wanted to include stars in Tsunami 'As Time Goes By', but due to the complexity of manufacturing, I ended up using only numerals." ~ Hajime Asaoka
