It was started by renowned Japanese watchmaker Hajime Asaoka with the intent of bringing his extremely unique aesthetic to a wider market. Each release of new Kurono watches has been sold-out almost immediately. This particular Grand Mori Anniversary version features a stunning green Japanese lacquer dial, with a foliage pattern resembling a dense forest (森). Each dial is handmade using "Urushi" lacquer, which is derived from a sap tree that is between 10 to 20 years old when harvested. The watch is powered by a high-grade 90S5 Miyota movement made in Japan featuring automatic winding, 42 hour power reserve, hacking function and centre seconds hand. Accessories The watch comes as a complete set with box and papers. Condition The watch appears to be in unworn condition, with no visible marks on the watch or buckle.
