KELEK REF. 94-03 A QUARTER REPEATER, GOLD PLATED Kelek, Swiss, 1896. Made in 1996 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Kelek (1896 - 1996). Fine and rare, quarter-repeating, center seconds, self-winding, gold plated wristwatch with a plated Kelek buckle., Three-body, solid, polished, transparent case back, stepped bezel, straight lugs, sapphire crystals. Guilloche silver with painted Breguet numerals and applied yellow gold dot indexes on a plain outer reserve, outer minute track. Oxidized gold Breguet hands. Cal. DK 87, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 29 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self- compensating flat balance spring, repeating on gongs by activating slide on the band.Important Modern & Vintage Timepieces
