Two-body, ?Directoire?, the back with a polychrome enamel depiction of a young lady with a dove?s nest in her lap and a cupid at her left under a tree on a translucent blue enamel over guilloché ground, blue and white diamond patterned enamel to the bezel. D. White enamel, Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, Arabic fifteen minutes winding aperture at 2 with arrow mount. Gold ?fancy? hands.. M. 41 mm frosted gilt full-plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement brass balance with flat balance spring, continental cock pierced and engraved with the letters ?CHEVALIER?.
