Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classique Classic Large Q3828420 c. 2016 Box and Papers

Jaeger-LeCoultre's Reverso is perhaps the most recognisable rectangular watch on the market. Originally released in 1931, it was designed for polo players who needed a timepiece that could withstand the rough and tumble of the sport. The Reverso achieved this by having a unique reversible case that could be flipped over to protect the dial from damage during a game. It was marketed to the English and European aristocracy, who would often engrave their coat of arms or personal monograms on the reverse of the case. King Edward VIII had his Royal Crest on his Reverso, while Amelia Earhart's watch had a flightpath between the US East Coast and Mexico. During the Second World War, the Reverso was retired due to square watches going out of fashion as well as the constraints on materials to be used for non-critical items, such as luxury wristwatches. The Reverso was re-released in 1982, after an Italian distributor discovered a trove of unused cases. Since then, the Reverso has formed the lynchpin of JLC's collection.✅Authentic: All watches are authenticated and come with a letter of authenticity ↪️Returns: 14 day return available on all watches, we want you to be 100% happy! 📃Warranty: Unless otherwise stated, all watches bought through Chrono24 come with a 6 month warranty 📦Shipping: Fully-insured shipping to all corners of the worldJaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classique Classic Large Q3828420 c. 2016 Box and Papers $ 7,494 Basic Info Listing code IUNXJ6 Brand Jaeger-LeCoultre Model Reverso Classique Reference number 3828420 Dealer product code SD041806 Movement Automatic Case material Steel Year of production 2016 Condition Very good (Worn with little to no signs of wear) Scope of delivery Original box, original papers Gender Men's watch/Unisex Location United Kingdom, London Price £5,750 (= $7,494) [Negotiable] Availability Item is in stock Caliber Movement Automatic Case Case material Steel Case diameter 27 mm Try it on Other Jaeger-LeCoultre's Reverso is perhaps the most recognisable rectangular watch on the market.
