Among them is the automatic movement 481, introduced in late 1948, and notable for being the first Jaeger-LeCoultre with a power reserve meter. The lot offered here is an excellent example of the Powermatic, featuring a very well-preserved stainless steel case with deep engravings on the back and distinctive fancy lugs. The white dial has aged to a charming ivory color and is embellished with applied baton and Arabic numerals.
