Mad Man (movie) First Season:
Don Draper’s watches from the first two seasons of Mad Men are by Jaeger-LeCoultre (JLC). They are perfectly chosen to align with Draper’s character development, as well as to match the feel of the 60s. Also, JLC is an iconic brand, and Don Draper is an iconic character.
This line of JLC was very popular with businessmen in the 60s: the mechanical alarm clock function served as a personal assistant and, especially with the “Tuxedo” configuration, was more than appropriate for events and formal settings-a perfect watch for Don Draper, and one that compliments the hustle and bustle of the “Big Apple” in the first season.
The brash, outspoken protagonist of the critically acclaimed show Mad Men, is a complex, layered character, with an intricate and dark backstory. In the first season, set in the 60s when he’s starting out at the ad agency, Don Draper’s watch is a Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox.
This watch is symbolic of his status at the company, as it is a JLC starter model. The edition Draper wears, nicknamed the “Tuxedo,” features a black outer ring, light color inner dial, and steel case. It is practical, with its built in alarm feature, and attractive with a hint of retro.

We accept items for return within 14 days if we have made an error in our description and if we are contacted within 14 days since the item has been delivered, and the item is returned in the same exact condition as it was sent to the buyer (i.e. including all protective plastics/tape, hang tags & accessories such boxes, papers, etc., as applicable). Therefore, until you are positive that you will be keeping the watch, do not wear it, or it will affect the return.
In any way, all sales are limited to a 14-day return policy for all reasons and seller limits its liability to the buyer to the total amount invoiced and to a period of 14 days following its delivery.
