This is a fantastic and interesting date window Reverso timepiece from the master watchmakers at JLC in a modern 27mm x 43mm size. Sizing is approximate. This will work well If you dress-up a lot and conduct business in suits but also with its sporting heritage is very cool and discerning with jeans and a nice, casual shirt. The Reverso line is a beautiful Jaeger-LeCoultre line with a surprisingly sporting origin story as the timepiece was designed to have the reverso functionality to give polo players a solid covering while getting physical on the horses and smacking the ball around the grounds. They would then flip the watch back over to the time and no doubt cheer good fortune over food and drinks. Over-time, the JLC Reverso pretty much became synonomous with "high class" and the various timepieces evolved to include dual faces, different complications and different sizes. This fine timepiece would set you back about $13K out the door if you bought it new at a Jaeger-LeCoultre Authorized Dealer in New York, London or Paris. Of course they will also get you a nice cafe au lait or espresso (my preference) and you will get to meet the wonderfully suited and capable security guards at that fine establishment as well. I just provide the same watch at a bunch less money in excellent pre-owned condition. This nice timepiece is underpinned with a Swiss automatic movement and this fine watch is a companion that is both excellent and so rare you almost certainly will not come across another one at work, at play, in distinctive watch enthusiast meet-ups or at your favorite bar or restaurant. This specific Reverso Gran Soort references is rare on the bracelet and displays the silvery, white opaline dial with the centrals seconds and a wonderful framed date window --- versatile, stunning and classy. Tremendous wrist presence. Of course at Dr4 industries we are bringing the best value on the internet because we tirelessly source our inventory and inspect very closely upon receipt for quality and authenticity. We only deal in 100% real watches because reputation is critical for us and in this industry in particular. We always have the inventory in our possession. We do not do the broker thing. The condition of this watch is as follows: Pre-owned but in excellent condition. Because we only want timepiece customers who are delighted with their purchase, we strive to add some additional insight to help you make a great timepiece decision. With that in mind, some additional considerations about this watch are… 1. 1. This watch is wears true to form for a 27 x 43mm rectangular watch. I can recommend this watch for any female unless they have very small wrists. This also works wonderfully on a male wrist, in fact this size is unisex but was made more for a discerning man, but the key is to have a wrist of less than 7+3/8 inches. My wrist is 7+1/4 inches and it is works well and looks absolutely stunning. 2. 2. The case construction, "flip" complication and the interesting dial in particular are very high-end. Actuating the "flip," is simple and intuitive. I personally love how the covering side is plain with no silly initials engraved or whatever. The covering side is in great shape and fairly shiny. Get out and be adventurous with this watch. This one even has a screw-down crown which is rare for a Reverso. As such, it is a bit "tougher" and has a 50m water resistance rating. 3. 3. And this watch tells time in a classic three-hands configuration and is somewhat "stealthy" with the dual personality --- two different looks altogether really --- capability. With the covering side out and protecting the dial, it looks like an interesting bracelet. Wonderful. 4. 4. The deployant buckle, signed "JL" of course, is of exceptional quality as is the expensive bracelet. These are considerably more rare and valueable on the bracelet. 5. 5. The Box and Paperwork that you see in the "everthing picture" round out the listing. This watch is frankly for somebody who either brings a very individual since of style and/or already has a few high-end timepieces and knows a thing or two about scarcity, differentiation and the pleasures of a rare, elegant grab-and-go luxury timepiece. This is an excellent "one-watch" contender. Some final words on Jaeger Le-Coultre. "JLC" is known as "The Watchmakers Watch" and for good reason. Let me explain... Located in the Vallée de Joux, Switzerland, Jaeger-LeCoultre is one of the only Manufactures which creates, develops, decorates and produces all timepieces within its own workshops. Right from the start, in order to make each watch in its entirety, the Manufacture houses the full range of professions, techniques and technologies under a single roof to give birth to the finest watchmaking creations. In 1833, in the heart of the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland, Antoine LeCoultre (1803–1881) transformed his family’s small barn into a watchmaking atelier and began to create timepieces of great accuracy. He was an inventor who balanced both intellect and imagination, applying himself to the challenge of measuring time. Obsessed with accuracy, he took it upon himself to create the tools required to develop the smallest parts in order to produce the most accurate calibres. Upon its founding, Jaeger-LeCoultre officially became the first watch Manufacture in the Vallée de Joux, bringing every aspect of watchmaking craftsmanship together under one roof. This approach was a revolution for the industry. At that time, almost all watchmakers used to work from home. Each had their own specialty and personal craftsman secrets. In 1888, the Manufacture was the most important company in the region, as confirmed by the industrial statistics of the Canton of Vaud. This was not only due to the use of machines and to its extraordinary production capacity, but at the time it employed 480 workers, both men and women. In 1903 Frenchman Edmond Jaeger and Jacques-David LeCoultre of Switzerland decided to work together to bring the best of French design and style in concert with Swiss watchmaking and chonometry expertise. The result still prevails at the Grande Maison today. We do not offer a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs via advice on where to go and what to do (with no profit for us but paid for by you). Everything we sell is working fine for all functions when it leaves our facility (or more specifically the safe deposit box where our watches reside). In some cases, we can go back to our source and get the watch repaired for free based on our relationship and reputation. We should always be the first port-of-call if there is an issue. 100% delighted customers so far and we aim to keep it that way. Please examine the pictures, what you see is what you get. The only exception is the English Bull Dog which we put in our group shots because we think it looks great. It is a James Bond tie-in and we kind of really like James Bond. And finally, we are an Atlanta based business but we also operate out of North Florida (some inventory in both places) as I like to include my brother in the business some. We sell only within the Continental United States or internationally through eBay's International Shipping service only.
