Cover and case-back polychrome enamelled with scenes showing the city of Schaffhausen: on the front, the Munot (a medieval fortress designed by Albrecht Dürer) and the Rhine; on the back, the Rhine Falls. Dial: white colour, enamel, with black painted radiating Roman numerals; external minute track divided five by five with black painted lines; yellow gold “Louis XV” hands. Movement: calibre 17’’’, manual-winding, 19 jewels, gilded brass with “fausses côtes” decoration, going barrel, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic Glucydur screw-balance, blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, polished steel index-regulator with swan-neck spring and micrometric screw, adjusted to 5 positions.
