In 1993, for the company's 125th anniversary, the "Il Destriero Scafusia" was presented by IWC as the most complicated mechanical wristwatch in the world. The "Schaffhausen Warhorse", loosely translated into German, has 76 jewels and combines a total of 22 complex functions. These include the hour and minute display, a small seconds, the perpetual calendar, a chronograph with split-seconds and the hour, quarter hour and minute repeater. The hand-crafted, flying minute tourbillon completes this watchmaking masterpiece. A total of 125 pieces of this watch were manufactured. The present piece is numbered 16. øg110
