R709A, made in the first half of 1960's (around 1963 by referring to the data from the serial number), has a beautiful and well-proportioned form from IWC, which makes us feel its beauty. It is a combination of K14YG (solid 14k gold) and ss (stainless steel) back case, which is an attractive and rare case structure at that time. The silver dial with sunburst finish, pointed dauphine hands, brand logo in writing, three-dimensional bullet-shaped indexes, and pearl dot indexes, a typical detail of "Old Inter", give it a classy impression. It is equipped with the typical Pellaton-type self-winding movement "Cal. 8531," which is popularly known as the "leaning date" because the date window is centered in the middle. Made by Mimosa.
