This Caliber Cal 3254 is from JLC Cal 889 delivered as well to Audemars Piguet called Cal 2125 & 2225.
AP used it to equip the famous AP Royal OAK 14790.
This IWC R3205 dial in Mint (1), steel case in Fine (2) condition.
The IWC Cal 3254 is fully functioning and keeping accurate time.
The automatic Cal 3254 and its successor 3258, derived from JLC Cal 889, only 3000 pieces produced by IWC.
The Cal 3254 equipped also IWC R3211 Ultra Thin Yacht Club II. The Cal 3254 & 3258 are extremely rare to find on vintage market!

The steel case Serial 2246824, manufactured in 1980. Case dimension: Ø 34.3 mm (excluding crown) x 40 mm, high 7.3 mm.
The automatic movement # 2296017, Cal 3254, manufactured in 1980. The automatic movement IWC Cal 3254, derived from
JLC 889 was the first IWC movement with date and central second, only 3000 pieces was produced. It has following specifications: Ø 26.50 mm, H 4.35 mm, 34 jewels, 28800A/h, 38 hours power reserve.
The dial is in plated rodium-flash (rhodium is resistant to corrosion), Opaline color,
with silver indexes and hands (Hour, Minute, Central Second), Date at 3.
Glass: original IWC sapphire glass, without scratches
Crown: original IWC crown with IWC Fish logo
Water resistant: 3 ATM when the watch was new. Now it's not water resistant.
Strap: used black leather strap
Buckle: IWC steel pin buckle, used
Box: IWC vintage watch box, ancient model 1980s.
