IW3700 was the first ever wristwatch produced with a case and bracelet made from titanium upon its launch in 1980. With function very much defining form, the avant-garde design has aged incredibly well and wouldn't look out of place in a collection released today. The watch is housed in a 42mm titanium case with integrated bracelet and chronograph pushers. The black dial is co-signed IWC and Porsche Design and features three subdials for the chronograph, plus the day and date in a window at three o'clock. The bracelet has a folding clasp with microadjustment. The watch comes with an IWC box, undated original papers and an extract from the archive dating the watch to 1981. Please note we have opted not to refurbish the case and the bracelet to maintain the originality of the watch.
