At the time, my father rejected the original present to get this IWC watch in particular and also a Rolex for my mother. His peers had not done the same and their wives were not impressed! The watch has been worn ever since. It was his pride and most cherished item. He has sent it for servicing with regularity. The paper trail is there to show this. The watch has a reference to model 4530, but the pictures on this site and over the internet show a model 3700. The reference of the case is different compared to the original warranty document. I assume it was changed, but cannot find any reference to it. Happy to share more pictures if required or meet in person in London to show it!
