Crafted in a 41mm stainless steel case, this chronograph showcases a black dial accented by crisp white numerals and refined gold minute markers, evoking the high-contrast visual codes of motorsport. Gold-plated hands filled with white Super-LumiNova ensure optimal legibility, while the distinctive APXGP branding is carried through to the tinted sapphire caseback and custom laser-engraved black rubber strap. Equipped with IWC’s proprietary EasX-CHANGE system, the strap can be swapped effortlessly without tools. Powering the watch is the in-house IWC calibre 69385, a rugged and precise automatic chronograph movement with a column-wheel architecture. Featuring a vertical subdial layout for intuitive readability, it offers timing functionality up to 12 hours and a 46-hour power reserve via a bidirectional pawl winding system.
