These are or were a limited edition of 500 max per year. It keeps very accurate time for an automatic mechanical watch. The time remains within a minute or less of GPS time after 5 days or so of use (assuming you wind it every night). Its chronometer (stopwatch) function is fun. The time and date are easy to set. I particularly like how, once I've dialed in the correct time and push in the crown, the minute hand doesn't move at all, unlike some of my other watches. On the back is an engraving of the F/A-18E Super Hornet. It goes well with formal or casual attire. Check out the IWC website for more photos of this model. The ceramic case is scratch-resistant. This works well. There are no scratches! The only imperfections are 1) small scratch or ding on the crown, 2) a tiny scratch on the crystal, which I can only see with reading glasses on, in natural sunlight, holding it at just the right angle (I couldn't get it to photograph), and 3) grains of dust that show up well in photos, but are invisible to the naked eye. I am the original owner. Purchased new from Hyde Park Jewelers in Denver in February 2022. I rarely wear watches these days, so this should go to a new home. Comes with original box, which features a built-in storage cubby with a fancy leather or leather-like case, the owner's manual, and the receipt (although I'm going to black out my address for security).
