IWC Pilot IW3741

Description

IWC Pilot Chronograph IW3741

Pilot chronograph from IWC, reference IW3741 (the first "flieger chrono" produced by IWC), brushed steel case, screw-down crown, original IWC buckle, aftermarket black leather strap (also looks great with brown strap, most photos include one), the mecha-quartz movement (the chronograph is mechanical and the rest of the movement is quartz) is the excellent caliber 631 produced by Jaeger-LeCoultre (a classic quartz movement, like the Rolex Oysterquartz or the Patek Ellipse quartz version), black dial and discreet Luminova lume, 6bar (suitable for swimming, according to the IWC website). In perfect interior and exterior condition, aside from some light scratches on the back (unpolished). It is very versatile: at 36mm (like the Patek 3970) it can be dressy, but also sporty due to its ruggedness (quartz, 6bar). For size reference, I include a photo with my 16,5 cm wrist and alongside other watches of my collection (a JLC ref. 111.8.86, a Rolex Cellini “tank”, and a Tudor BB58). Serviced in 2018, papers included.Pilot chronograph from IWC, reference IW3741 (the first "flieger chrono" produced by IWC), brushed steel case, screw-down crown, original IWC buckle, aftermarket black leather strap (also looks great with brown strap, most photos include one), the mecha-quartz movement (the chronograph is mechanical and the rest of the movement is quartz) is the excellent caliber 631 produced by Jaeger-LeCoultre (a classic quartz movement, like the Rolex Oysterquartz or the Patek Ellipse quartz version), black dial and discreet Luminova lume, 6bar (suitable for swimming, according to the IWC website).
