I bought this watch new in 2019 and it saw about 30% wrist time until March 2024. It has been safely in my watch box since March. This watch looks and feels amazing on the wrist. You're reading this listing because you know what this watch is, but it is a luxury watch disguised as an EDC tool watch. There were only 500 made and it is definitely top 3 most popular Hodinkee collaborations out there. There are a few noticeable scratches, one on each side of the watch. There are a few other places around the watch that show small nicks. The sapphire is unscratched or marked. I have tried to document accurately. Please see photos. Because the watch is black and made out of IWC Ceratanium, I have found that scratches and other tiny nicks tend to be more visible in photos than in real life. But you can notice if you look closely. These scratches are cosmetic only since Ceratanium is one amazingly tough substance, but I have no idea how to buff them out. Maybe you do! I would definitely say don't believe the IWC marketing that Ceratanium watches are impervious to scratches. Overall this watch is definitely not collector grade. It has been carefully worn and loved. There is something about the Ceratanium that slowly picks up a patina and the occasional cosmetic scratch or nick. But structurally and mechanically speaking I'm certain this watch can outlive you. Comes with the original band, which also shows some wear. See photos. Comes with the original box and tags.
