The word "Silberpfeil" is actually a German word for Silver Arrow. The Silberpfeil series was very successful on the racing track during 1934 and 1939, having won numerous Grand Prixes and other championship victories. The flyback chronograph allows reading of stopped hours and minutes as simply as the time on a separate sub-dial. The chrono counter is located on the upper part of the dial, at the 12 o'clock position, while the small seconds sub-dial is placed on the opposite side, at the 6 o'clock position.
