This iteration, dedicated to Darwin and the Galapagos Islands where he did much of his work, has a rubber stainless steel coated case and black rubber strap. As a diver, it naturally has a screw-down crown and excellent water resistance (to 120m). The lume on the hands, dial and bezel is also very bright. IWC has heavily modified the Valjoux 7750 movement, a workhouse chronograph with an impressive record of reliability and accuracy.
