Here is a fabulous, all original IWC caliber 854 from 1966. The silver sunburst dial is in excellent condition, with the script IWC logo and barely any marks. It has faceted steel chevron hour markers, double at 12 o’clock and the characteristic spheres demarking the minutes. The sword hands are in very fine condition. The stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case with the original fish crown and faceted heavy lugs is in very fine condition with light overall wear, mostly at the lugs. The case back is in very fine condition, with a brushed center and a polished rim with a few marks. The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality. Inside the watch, IWC’s superb 854 movement with the Pellaton winding system beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in March 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
