Because it is a significant sized (56mm and more than 170g) artefact of the re-birth of mechanical watchmaking in the late 1970s -- a lavish decorated mechanical movement in a beautiful classic Beyer-sold IWC pocketwatch. Visible hand-engraved golden movement, sunburst-subdials and aventurine-moon. Limited edition of 100 pieces: individually numbered case & movement & box (of course all the same, belonging together) and sold by Beyer as indicated by the dealer signature on the dial. The dial and crystal and movement is in excellent condition, just the caseback shows some minor superficial scratches, which could be polished -- but I think it is good and authentic for a 40+ years old watch.
