Elegant and historic, this Aerotel-branded chronograph was manufactured by Heuer in the 1940's and sold under the Aerotel name. It represents a scarce private label chapter in Heuer's history, pleasing for both provenance and period aesthetics. Housed in a solid 14K yellow gold case and powered by the Landeron 13 movement, it carries all the hallmarks of Heuer's fine chronograph craftsmanship. It features a classic two-register design, feuille hands, gold pushers, and timeless styling - and the Aerotel name on the dial announcing it as an uncommon private label piece. Its dial has 1/5 seconds markings for professional precision timing in sporting, racing, and technical fields. 14K gold chronographs like this are crossover pieces in a sense - it wears with the refined presence expected of mid-century Heuer chronographs yet maintains the credibility of a professional timing instrument.
