Notably, the Ref. 347 was among the early chronographs utilized by Air Force pilots, including those in the German Air Force during that era. This chronograph has a 36mm stainless steel case, excluding the crown, with the classic period`s design with oval chronograph pushers and fixed lugs. The pressure-locked case back is correctly signed and numbered, it is in a very good condition and it locks firmly onto the case. The original plexiglass is in excellent condition. The case is in a very good condition, it dos not seem to have been polished, and it shows only light/normal traces of use The original black silver gilt dial is designed for an immediate legibility, with large arabic numerals and military-style hands. The dial’s condition is remarkable, with well-preserved printing and markers, and a subtle patina that attests to its vintage character. At the heart of the Ref. 347 is the Valjoux 22 caliber, a manual-winding, two-register chronograph movement measuring 31.3mm in diameter. The Valjoux 22 is a quality colum-wheel movement renowned for its reliability and was widely used in professional-grade chronographs of its time.
