Sapphire crystal. Reference number: 1163 Circa late 1960's. History of this watch:This watch was launched in the late 1960's.It was one of the first to be designed as bulkier than its predecessors. It was most popular in the motor racing world. A note of interest on this watch is that the crown is on the left side the case and the two pushers (start/reset) are on the right side of this case.The reason for this was because the movement was not designed from the ground up.
