Heuer Bundeswehr 3H Flyback Ref. 1550SG Military - Valjoux 230 - 1970's - rare!
We offer for sale a rare example of a military chronograph created for pilots belonging to the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Germany (Bundeswehr).
Over the years, research has since shown that this model was also used by ground troops such as the artillery.
There are multiple versions of this model, in fact it was produced for several years (1955-1990) by different manufacturers such as: Leonidas, Heuer and Sinn.
During Heuer production we have seen several dial configurations, this example for sale is a 3H + t dial.
In addition to its boundless beauty and the Valjoux caliber 230 equipped with Flyback function and column-wheel sorting, this watch is recognizable
by its Clamshell type case that features a large diameter and a case back tightened by 4 screws.

Condition: the watch has been worn, it shows some signs of time, so please kindly take a good look at the high resolution photos we have uploaded.
the watch has been fully serviced by our specialized watchmaker technician, currently does not need any work.
For the sake of fairness, I point out that the watch has a very advantageous price compared to other 1550SG 3H specimens as it has two special features:
- The hour sphere has the luminescent material of a different color than the other spheres, could this be caused by a replacement of said material,
or from a replacement of the sphere, which in any case is original.
- At the back of the case, near the lugs, there are spots (see photo) could be "steel cancer" or simply wear and tear.
