Footnotes The Silverstone was meant to be an iconic design successor for the square shaped Monaco and first appeared in the 1974 Heuer catalogue where Clay Regazzoni in a blue race suit wore a blue dial one on a steel strap while sitting in the Ferrari 312 T Formula 1 car. Therefore the blue dial Silverstone is called the 'Regazzoni' by collectors and very much sought after. The product life cycle of the Silverstone was rather short and after three years production ceased, it was last shown in the 1977 catalogue. Previous
