This fact once again underlines Heuer's close relationship with motorsport. The blue version offered here is particularly popular with vintage collectors. Not only because it's the rarest (compared to fumé and red dials), but also because a blue Silverstone has been spotted on the wrist of Swiss racing driver Clay Regazzoni. That's why the Heuer Silverstone with a blue dial is nicknamed "Clay Regazzoni". The striking chronograph has a square case with rounded corners making it look unusual and harmonious at the same time. The Silverstone is powered by Caliber 12 - one of the first automatic chronographs in the world. In addition to the two chrono counters, the watch also offers a date window. Thanks to the white print on the blue background and large tritium hands the dial has a nice contrast and good readability. Compared to the Carrera and Autavia, the Silverstone was produced in much smaller numbers. Case: slight signs of wear that are barely visible to the naked eye - full profile - clearly legible numbers between the lugs - original winding crown.
