The Hermès Arceau L’Heure de la Lune (ref. AR1.890F) reimagines traditional moonphase displays through an unorthodox, poetic arrangement. Two floating subdials – one for time and one for date – rotate over a pair of detailed moon discs positioned at 12 and 6 o’clock, simultaneously showing lunar phases in both hemispheres. Housed in a 43mm white-gold case, the watch features a black aventurine dial whose subtle sparkle evokes a starlit sky. Beneath, Hermès deploys the calibre H1837 with a proprietary L’Heure de la Lune module developed by Chronode, offering a 42-hour power reserve. The rotating disc mechanism completes a full cycle every 59 days, tracking lunar progress with mechanical precision. Water-resistance is rated to 30 metres. Ref.
