AF-42-7052 CONTRACT NO. W535 ac-28072 - within a fitted wooden case, with hinged lid with glazed aperture and metal plaque inscribed 'Aircraft Navigational Watch Box, BU. aero. U.S. Navy, Contract No a(s)-3376 F.S.S.C. No. 88-B-860, Hamilton Watch Co.'. The reverse of the box with scratched inscription 'I WANT A DRINK'. Movement currently functioning. Dial good. Glass light surface marks. Hands generally good, hour hand with minor paint chips, centre of the hands with some surface corrosion. Case light surface marks. Crown adjusting correctly.
