18K yellow gold hunter case pocket watch by Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Grade 941, Model 2, circa 1905. The movement, serial number 277562, features 21 jewels and a finely damaskeened nickel finish. The heavy gold case is richly hand engraved with a dramatic frontier scene of a knife-wielding bear hunter on one side and two gold miners on the other, both framed within ornate foliate and scroll borders. The cuvette is inscribed “C. Zuffi.” Dimensions: Diameter 2.25 in. (57 mm) Condition: Watch not running; excellent overall condition with crisp engraving and light surface wear consistent with age.
