The movement is spectacular and so is the near mint hunting case which has the Keystone J BOSS mark. The porcelain dial is marked Hamilton and is a so-called 4 foot dial which is also rare. The movement has 21 jewels and stunning damaskeening with gold jewel settings, gold train (gears), adjusted to 5 positions and for temperature variation. These precision railroad watches were used by senior conductors and engineers and the hunting case ensured that it was impossible to accidentally break the dial. The 991 is rare as it had a very low production run and more difficult to find due to the hunting case. There is a very light hairline (blue line shadow) at the 4:30 PM position and a few nicks in the bow from the conductors pocket watch chain. However, they are minor and the watch looks really nice. Please ignore the dust particles and dark reflections or spots in the images. It is very hard to avoid this when taking pictures of very shiny surfaces and objects.
