The crystal is sapphire and the Flieger “B Uhr” style dial is a lovely anthracite grey with applied numerals. The watch has a nicely brushed and polished case with 200 meters of water resistance. The movement is a day/date ETA 2836-2 (NOT Hamilton’s later H-series), which beats at 28,800 vph (4 hz). The strap is the original Hamilton croc-style embossed brown leather strap. The strap almost unworn, as I very quickly put it on another for the entire time I’ve owned it. I am the second owner of this watch and I purchased it in “New with Tags” condition in September 2021. The watch is still in like new condition and I struggle to find a scratch or mark anywhere. The only mark(s) I can find are on the edge of the case back. I’ve owned a number of Hamiltons and I think this watch has the nicest level of finishing of all the models I’ve owned. This is a very lovely piece, but just doesn’t get the wrist time it used to.
