Beat Haldimann and his team are among the rare few who continue to produce watches without relying on CNC machinery. Launched in 2002, the H1 Flying Central Tourbillon is arguably Haldimann’s most renowned model. Upon first glance, the oversized tourbillon is impossible to miss, taking centre stage in Beat Haldimann’s dramatic creation. The tourbillon measures 17.8 mm across and sits above a large balance wheel. The lyre-shaped tourbillon cage is made from stainless steel and finished entirely by hand. Because the cage is so delicate, only a highly experienced watchmaker can perform the hand-finishing — even the slightest pressure risks deforming it. The 39 mm platinum case, dial, and hands present beautiful aesthetic—elegantly restrained yet full of character. The platinum case gives the watch a substantial, luxurious feel on the wrist, while the silver dial with hand-engraved numerals injects a modern vitality. The hands, modeled on an 18th‑century Haldimann Frères pocket watch, include a seconds display driven by the rotation of the flying tourbillon cage.Haldimann H1 Central Tourbillon 型號H1 鉑金飛行陀飛輪腕錶,約2002年製
