Number 4 of just 5 pieces, this Habring² Doppel 3 was created in 2014 as the very first collaboration between a watchmaker and a watch magazine, developed with the input of Max Büsser. With its stainless steel 42mm case, striking white dial, and ingenious mono-pusher split-second chronograph movement, this little-know series is a very rare and significant collaboration. In Their Own Words: "In 2014, Horlogerie-Suisse.com partnered with Habring² to create an exceptionally exclusive version of the Habring² Doppel 3 split-second chronograph. This collaboration resulted in a timepiece distinguished by its rarity and exceptional craftsmanship. This special edition is comprised of only five unique pieces, underscoring its exclusivity and desirability among collectors. The Doppel 3 model serves asibute to the sports timekeepers of the late 1960s, clearly reflecting its historical roots and the inventive spirit of its creators. The Doppel 3 is notable for its artisan-crafted movement, which demonstrates remarkable technical ingenuity. It is powered by the A08MR MONO calibre, a mechanism designed to simplify the start-stop-reset function of the split-second chronograph into a single push-button operation. This sophisticated movement is a testament to Habring²’s focus on small-scale, artisanal manufacturing, which ensures each watch achieves high precision and reliability. This limited edition timepiece features a striking white dial adorned with royal blue leaf-shaped appliques and hands. The 42 mm case is crafted from stainless steel and constructed in three parts, topped with a domed sapphire crystal that includes double-sided anti-reflective coating. The watch is also water-resistant up to 50 meters, enhancing its practicality.
