A stunning vintage Gruen Art Deco ladies cocktail watch, crafted in solid 18K white gold with an intricate filigree design and paired with an elegant 14K white gold bracelet. The bracelet has a lovely floral detailing. The original Gruen case is beautifully detailed, featuring four diamonds and eight marquise-cut sapphires set within finely engraved Art Deco styling. The sapphire cabochon crown and cobalt blue hands add to its classic period-correct look. The dial is original, displaying a warm champagne tone developed naturally over time, with black Arabic numerals and an inner chapter ring. This honest aging gives the watch exceptional character and authenticity. It is an estate piece and had not been polished or altered. The watch houses a Gruen caliber 833 manual wind movement with 15 jewels, adjusted to four positions, and is currently running. Has not been monitored for accuracy.
