This is a piece from Seiko's high-end Grand Seiko collection. The watch face is deep green and features an image of "Mount Iwate on a clear day" in Iwate Prefecture, where the company's watch workshop is located. The stripes have an irregular pattern, and they look different depending on the angle you look at them. The design reminds us of a majestic mountain with lush greenery. The movement is powered by the 9S85, an in-house self-winding high-beat movement with a 55-hour power reserve and 36,000 vibrations per hour, which has returned to Grand Seiko after an absence of more than 40 years. This model was released in 2022 only in China and was produced in a limited edition of 168 pieces.
