Glycine Airman Purist No1

Hello, I am selling a superb Glycine Airman Purist No 1 (GL0371), a reissue of the famous 1953 Airman. The Glycine Airman was designed for pilots by Glycine, a Swiss watch brand founded in 1914. Its distinctive features include a 24-hour dial and a mobile bezel allowing a second time zone. It became immensely popular, particularly in the USA during the Vietnam War, where it equipped many fighter and helicopter pilots. It is also linked to the conquest of space, as astronauts wanted to be able to read the time 24 hours a day to preserve the notion of day/night; we have it on good authority, with photos to back it up, that the Glycine Airman was on the wrist of the 3rd man on the Moon, Charles Conrad Jr. during a Gemini space mission in 1966. I'm selling this watch to finance another project. Near mint condition. Comes with box, over-box and papers.Glycine Airman Purist No1 $ 1,302 Basic Info Listing code K8N1F9 Brand Glycine Model Airman Reference number GL0370 Movement Automatic Case material Steel Year of production Unknown Condition Very good (Worn with little to no signs of wear) Scope of delivery Original box, original papers Gender Men's watch/Unisex Location France, Salon de Provence Price €1,190 (= $1,302) [Negotiable] Availability Item is in stock Caliber Movement Automatic Case Case material Steel Case diameter 36 mm Try it on Dial Black Hello, I am selling a superb Glycine Airman Purist No 1 (GL0371), a reissue of the famous 1953 Airman.
