Offered here today is an elegant and collectible timepiece: a vintage Girard-Perregaux Gyromatic automatic wristwatch from the 1960s, housed in a 14K yellow gold case. Part of Girard-Perregaux’s Gyromatic line, it is known for its efficient automatic winding system developed during the mid-20th century. It is a self-winding watch powered by the original Girard Perregaux & Co. automatic movement, caliber 47EU 753, featuring 17 jewels with a sweep-seconds hand and made in Switzerland. Still has the original champagne dial and is accented by stick hour markers and matching hands. The dial is signed with the Girard-Perregaux name/logo on top and Gyromatic on the bottom. The watch is housed in a 34mm round 14K yellow gold case and classic lug design. It is fitted with a brand-new brown leather two-piece strap.
