George Prior, London - 18th century silver pair cased verge pocket watch made for the Turkish market, London 1791, the fusee movement signed Geo Prior, London, no. 2860, with pierced engraved balance cock, steel three arm balance, silvered regulating disc with Turkish numerals and fancy pillars, associated signed champleve silver dial with Roman numerals, five minute divisions, wavy minute track and shell to the centre, gilt hands, within plain matching cases, case maker 'TG' (probably Thomas Gibbard), 55mm, key, Movement - currently functioning. Dial - later replacement dial, good. Glass - some surface marks. Hands - good, replacements. Case - inner case generally good, some tarnishing and surface marks, outer case with tarnishing, wear to the button, light surface marks.
