Gallet Jimmy Clark

GOLD & HOURS WARRANTY: YES Reference: Gimmy Clark Chrono Categories: Watches, Latest Arrivals Brand: Gallet Description: Watch worn by racing driver Jim Clark during his races, used as a tool to measure average lap times on various circuits. Worn during a 1963 expedition to Mount Everest, it was also used for some Apollo space missions. Produced from the late 1950s to the late 1970s, this model was the best-selling and most sought-after. It features well-preserved tritium hands and indices, a dual tachometric and telemetric scale, and a chronograph seconds display for improved readability. This Gallet is from 1963. The T in the center of the subdial at 6 o'clock symbolized the difference between the Radium dials and the tritium dials, like this example, which is in excellent condition, with light marks on the dial and small marks on the case. But its main strength lies in the movement: the Excelsior Park 40-68, one of the most beautiful and complex calibers ever created by Swiss watchmaking. Without box or official warranty. We inform our customers that for shipments outside the EAEU (European Community), customs duties are the responsibility of the buyer.
