A Gallet & Co military issue ' Adanac ' wristwatch. Black dial with Arabic numbers, arrow hands with sweeping seconds hand. Rotating black bezel. Caseback marked Gallet & Co 6645-01-150-8115 / 211 / F41608-85-D-0179 APRIL 1988. Set to a black canvas strap. The Gallet & Co. Adanac is a military-issued wristwatch from the late 1980s, jointly produced by Gallet (case and branding) and Marathon (movements and dials) for the Canadian Armed Forces and the USAF . The name "Adanac" is "Canada" spelled backward, and the watch features a rugged stainless steel case, a 24-hour dial, tritium luminous material, a 0-11 marked bidirectional bezel, and a Swiss-made quartz movement. These were essentially a collaboration between the two Canadian companies All weights, measurements and sizes are approximate.
