For sale is a vintage Gallet triple calendar chronograph watch, Circa late 1950s/early 1960s. Swiss made. Reference 998. Original dial has moisture-related spotting/discoloration in the outer date track (see pics). Pointer date hand is not original and is an incorrect replacement. Manual winding 17 jewels Gallet-signed Valjoux caliber 723 movement. Winds, sets and runs. Chronograph and calendar operate as they should. Please note that service history of the watch is unknown, hence, accuracy is untested and not guaranteed. A service/cleaning is recommended for optimal timekeeping. All stainless steel case measures 35mm wide excluding crown and 43mm long. Comes on a replacement band. No box or papers.
